Step 1. Cut out two identical squares from a paper of any color.
Step 2. Prepare both parts absolutely identically. First, mark out the diagonals of the square by folding the squares right sides up if the paper on the back is white. Then bend each corner towards the center, clearly focusing on the middle of the sides.
Step 3. Without bending the corners, make four cuts from the middle of the sides to the center, but do not go to the very center point, but stop halfway.
Step 4. Make the rays of the star by bending each corner of the resulting square.
Step 5. Prepare two pieces with four corners.
Step 6. Glue the stars together, turning one relative to the other by 45 degrees. Place a photograph or image of your favorite fairy-tale character in the center. Press the craft between the books so that the paper aligns and remembers the bend.
Step 7. The star is already ready, but it can be made brighter and more elegant by decorating it with rhinestones.
