If you want to beautifully and originally decorate your home for the New Year and also involve children in this process, make a beautiful and unusual garland with your own hands. Guests who come to your home will be delighted and amazed by your skill and splendor of decorations. You can decorate a Christmas tree with a garland; it can be hung throughout the room, on the windows. You can make it from white paper, or you can experiment and use colored paper.
So, the garland consists of modules, each of which consists of two parts. To create one module we will need: 1 sheet of paper, glue, scissors, pencil.
The number of modules depends on your desire and patience. In my case, we used 5 sheets of yellow, green, blue, pink, and light green. That is, my garland consists of 5 modules.

How to make a paper Christmas garland
1)Take a sheet of paper and cut it in half.

2) Bend one of the halves to form a triangle. Cut off the excess part.

3) Fold the resulting triangle in half corner to corner, then again (like a snowflake). Now use a pencil to mark the location of the cut – draw a semicircle, starting from the corner of the triangle and to the middle of the opposite side. Cut off.

4) Now mark the locations of the remaining cuts. Draw lines parallel to the cut at a distance of 0.5 cm, but not to the very end.

5) Make the cuts.

6) Now unfold the “snowflake”. The result is half a module.

7) Make the next half of the module in the same way. Glue the two halves together in four places along the edges (See the “x” marks in the photo). One module is ready.

8) Make all the modules in the same way.

9) Glue the modules together in the center.

10) Next, take the ends of the modules and stretch the garland. The paper garland is ready!
