Seeing a flower made of paper, many will think that it is rather difficult to make such a product on their own. In fact, there are a lot of ways to create flowering crafts. Some of them can be done by anyone.
This master class, illustrated with step-by-step photographs, shows the technique for creating a paper peony. It will take no more than 20 minutes to make one flower.
Materials for work:
To create petals, you can use paper of any color, it all depends on the desire of the master. For example, plain white paper will do. You will also have to make green leaves and yellow stamen. In the process, you can not do without scissors and PVA glue.
Making a paper peony flower
1.Fold a sheet of paper of the chosen color and cut out a wavy petal. Make a few of these. It is advisable to gradually reduce their size in order to subsequently collect a symmetrical flower.
2. Bend each petal first in half, and then in the form of an accordion.
3. Expand the petal, the paper will remember the curved shape. Thus, we got a “corrugated” petal.
4.Cut out a round base from cardboard. Start sticking the first layer of prepared petals on the base. Use the largest petals at the beginning.
5. Wait for the glue to dry, then glue the second circle of petals in a checkerboard pattern.
Fill the central part with petals in several layers, gradually reducing the size of the details. You can glue green petals to the outside.
7. Cut a small strip of yellow paper, make a fringe out of it, and then twist it into a tight bundle. Glue the resulting part to the central part of the flower.
A large lush paper peony is ready!
