Such a ball of flowers will decorate any room. A few flower kusudamas can decorate a room for a birthday or for the New Year. You can make a ball of multi-colored modules or use paper of only one color.
It just seems that the craft is very complicated. In fact, if you have patience, then a child of primary school age can make such a ball. But he still needs a little help.
To make a ball with a diameter of 20 cm, you will need 60 squares of colored paper measuring 14×14 cm. To do this, you need to take a sheet of landscape-sized colored paper, fold it in half, cut it. Then make a square from each rectangle, bending one side diagonally, and cut off the protruding part of the sheet.
From each square, make a blank – a module.
Fold the square diagonally. The top of the triangle should look up.

Bend the corners of the triangle to the top.

Open the triangle on the right side, and on the left side, fold the triangle in half.

Now fold the right side of the workpiece in half, connecting the bottom fold with the fold made in the previous step.

Fold the figure in half vertically from the top of the triangle. You should get such a workpiece.

Hide the right side along the fold inward.

Bend the top corner towards you.

Open this corner and hide it inside, in the pocket that will be closest.

Press the workpiece.

If you did everything right, then, opening the workpiece, you will see a moving part, which will be in the middle.

Make 5 such modules. Apply glue to the place indicated by the circle and stack all five modules in a pile.

Unfold when the glue dries.

Connect the outer petals with glue. You will have a flower.

In the same way, make 12 more flowers.

Spread glue on two adjacent petals of the same flower, take the second flower and glue to the first. Flowers will be connected by two petals.

Glue the next two petals and glue another flower. When you get a chain of 5 flowers, you will connect them together with glue. You will get such a wreath:

Apply glue to all the junctions of the flowers. You got five of them, like petals. Take the sixth flower and glue it on top, putting it in the hole. At each gluing point, you will have three petals. You have made half the ball:

In the same way, make the second part of the ball:

Turn one part of the ball over, grease the ends of the petals with glue, and glue both halves of the ball together.

Kusudama is ready:

A ball of flowers can be hung on a thread or satin ribbon, fastened to a chandelier.
And you can put it on a shelf or table, as the kusudama is very stable.
See how beautiful!
