Pencil in the shape of a Dachshund dog. Dachshunds are such cute, funny dogs that cannot be overlooked due to their long torso. It was this feature that inspired me to make a pencil holder.
To create a pencil holder you will need:
-cardboard (dense from a regular box);
-colored and decorative paper;
-a simple pencil;
-scissors, clerical knife;
-glue.

How to make a cardboard dachshund pencil holder
Print the template and prepare everything you need to work from the list above.
1) Transfer the details of the future pencil holder to the cardboard base:

2) Mark all lines for cut:

3) Cut out all the cardboard pieces with scissors or a craft knife:

4) Make cutouts according to the intended lines:

5) According to the template, draw on decorative paper the details of the clothes – the front and back of the jumpsuit and the sides. From white paper, cut out a piece to decorate the bottom of the pencil case:

6) Glue the decor on the cardboard pieces.

7) Make cutouts over the pasted paper:

8) Take the front part and insert the side parts into its grooves:

9) Insert the partition in the center of the torso, and also connect the sides to the back part:

10) Draw stripes along the perimeter of the bottom with a red marker to make an air mattress:

11) Insert the bottom by pushing the legs into the prepared grooves. On the reverse side, you can fix it with glue and press the bottom to the dog:

12) Cut out face shapes from colored paper. As a result, you should get brown eyes, eyebrows, an elongated nose, a black tip of the nose, pink details for the ears, and white circles for the eyes:

13) Glue the face details.
14)Draw pupils, eyelashes, and dots on the face with a black marker. The pencil dog is ready!
